nice, kinda not feeling Mirage, but you seem to be channeling the IDW look for him, which is more the issue thatn your drawing itself (if that made sense)

What version do you prefer? I didn't know there were that many different looks for the guy.

a less, I dunno.. 'blocky' face, more like whats one the Classics/Henkei figure. Where he's got more of a 'hat' than some swollen eyes.
It's one of those things where the look COULD work, I just will always see Mirage as "someone who doesn't like to fight", and that look gives him a "rip you spark out" badassery, (heck, you've got Jazz and 'Bee smiling, everyone else has a more nuetral look, and Mirage just looks ready to kill)

Ah... I don't think you're seeing it correctly, or you're seeing something that isn't there - which may in fact even be my fault - because the 'I don't like to fight' is the personality trait that I tried the most to convey when drawing Mirage.

You see, Mirage isn't looking at anyone with rage - I didn't even draw optics for him. He is looking to the ground in self-reflection, the only one with their head held down, shadows cast over his face to symbolize the doubt he has in the choices he has made.

I personally don't like the Classics Mirage head. I like the Tuxedo Mask-looking face he's got - like he just came from a custom party where you hold your little half mask in front of your face. This always made me think of aristocracy - which is the part of society that Mirage inhabits.

ok, now I see the relfectiuon you're talking about. maybe I was just looking at it wierd, or it could be his mouth that still make me think "rage", over "sorrow"
