So if I where to give this figure a rating out of 5, I'd give it a 4.

If you spend the whole $100 though, I'd say 3.

Dunno where you heard that, but whoever said that is wrong. In fact the quadruped stance is really the only way to keep him balanced!

What you do is take his legs and move them forward to where the head is looking straight down, and then adjust his arms so he balances on his claws. I kept the head from constantly looking down by tying one of the elastic bands that came in the packaging from Mixmaster's truck front to Scavenger's railings, like this:

Also, I was surprised to learn that Devastator's legs are triple jointed. Kinda useless, since he's such a heavy figure and has trouble balancing as it is, but still pretty neat.

If I find him after the holidays marked down to $50... then I think I'll deem him worth the cost. But not at $99.
